About the Author
Denis founded Lumitech and later Tolmete, which was first used within Lumitech’s delivery operations. He has over ten years of engineering experience and writes about agency economics, product strategy, software delivery, and AI adoption.
Denis writes for Tolmete Insights as an engineer who went on to build and lead a software agency. His career has included software development, pre-sales, engineering recruitment, professional training, and delivery management.
After founding Lumitech in Dubai in 2022, his responsibilities expanded to company strategy, delivery operations, and the commercial results of client projects. This work showed him how estimates, scope changes, delivery decisions, and client communication affect project margin.
Tolmete grew from the need to identify those effects earlier. Denis uses his articles to examine the same problems from an agency leader’s position: where margin is lost, how delivery choices change financial outcomes, and where AI can support operational decisions.
