A seat is anyone with an active login — developers, PMs, designers, founders, anyone on your team using Tolmete. Clients viewing the Client Portal are not counted as seats; they're free.
Yes. You can move up to a higher tier at any time without losing your data, settings, or historical logs. If you need to move to a lower tier, our team will help you find the best transition point — usually at the start of your next billing cycle.
Yes. The per-seat prices shown for Premium and Signature reflect annual billing. Switching to the monthly toggle shows the month-to-month rate, which is higher — annual billing is the better deal if you're committing for the year.
We evaluate these on a case-by-case basis. If you're a non-profit, academic institution, or based in a region where standard pricing doesn't fit, reach out to our team and we'll see what we can work out.
The seat minimums on Premium and Signature aren't arbitrary — AI Signals need enough contributor activity to spot real patterns, and below a certain scale there just isn't enough data for them to stay reliable. If your team is under 7 people, Free already gives you AI Time Tracking and Tolmete Invoicing at no cost. And if you're just above that but not quite ready for a 10-seat plan, Free is a great place to keep growing until Signals make sense for your team size.
